Ada Noryami Kpe, a development-oriented Non-Profit organization, made up of persons of Ada descent in Ghana, home and abroad, has put resources together to sponsor skill training of young men and women in Ada.
The two-day intensive skill training saw about 30 young people trained in the making of different kinds of detergents, brown sugar, yogurt, and many other products. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Naana Adede, the leader of the group in Ada admonished the young men and women to take advantage of the opportunity to gain self-employable skills. She encouraged them to be diligent in the skill acquisition to be able to teach others. She told the trainees that Ada Noryami Kpe is doing this to help solve the issues of unemployment among the youth and also help other working class of the Ada community to acquire a second skill. At the end of the program, participants were full of joy and expressed their sincerest thanks to Ada Noryami Kpe for putting the training together.
